A proper set,
without owning one.
Multi-camera studio days in London and remote recording set-ups for guests anywhere. Set, lighting and sound designed for your show, switched live and directed on the day, so the edit is a polish rather than a rescue.
Sound familiar?
These are the things that go wrong on a recording day when nobody is running it.
It looks like a Zoom call
Flat light, a laptop webcam and a bookshelf. The content is good but nobody watching believes it is worth their time.
Sound that ruins the edit
Echo, hum, a mic too far away. There is no fixing bad audio afterwards, only hiding it.
Half a day lost to set-up
Cables, lights, cards, batteries. By the time you are recording you are tired and the guest is bored.
One camera, one angle
Forty minutes of the same shot. Cuts have nowhere to go, so the edit cannot hold attention.
Nobody is watching the monitor
A guest drifts out of frame, a light shifts, a card fills up. You find out in the edit, when it is too late.
Remote guests look like an afterthought
Your side is polished, theirs is a bedroom at 720p. The show only ever looks as good as its worst feed.
A proper set.
Without owning one.
Set & lighting design
A look built for your show and your brand: seating, backdrop, key and fill, so every episode is recognisably yours.
Multi-camera, switched live
Two to four cameras cut live on the day from a multiview, so the programme cut exists before you leave the studio.
Sound recorded properly
Broadcast mics, isolated tracks per person, levels watched throughout. Recorded right once, not fixed later.
On-the-day direction
Someone in the chair watching framing, pace and energy, and telling you when to go again.
Remote recording set-ups
Kits and guidance for guests anywhere, so their feed matches yours instead of dragging the show down.
Batch days
Record a month of episodes in a day. Same set, same light, same sound, every time.
Plan. Shoot. Hand over.
A studio day designed, directed and switched so what leaves the room is nearly finished.
Plan the day
Format, run order, guests, look. We design the set and the schedule so the day runs to time.
Build the set
Cameras, lights and sound rigged and tested before you arrive. You walk in and sit down.
Record & switch
Directed and switched live. Isolated audio, every camera recorded, the programme cut made as you go.
Hand over
Footage, audio and the live cut delivered the same week, straight into the edit or the podcast pipeline.
The full package
Every engagement includes all of this as standard. No hidden extras.
Common questions
London, in hired studios chosen for the look you want. I can also build a set in your own office or a hotel room if that suits the show better.
Most clients record four to six episodes in a day. With a tight run order and guests booked back to back, that is a month of weekly content.
No. Cameras, lenses, lights, microphones and the switcher are all brought in. You bring yourself and your guests.
They are recorded remotely with a set-up that matches the studio feed as closely as possible. I brief them in advance and monitor their feed on the day.
The live cut is included, which many shows publish as-is. A full post-production edit, clips and podcast distribution are handled through the video editing and podcast management services, and most production clients use both.
Two to three weeks is comfortable for studio hire and guest scheduling. Shorter is possible when a studio is free.
